This pencil drawing, which measures 14 inches square, is a rough sketch on light paper, which has been affixed to foam board. This drawing may well have been Mr. Savitt’s concept for a painting. There is some smudging on the paper, but it is a well-executed piece of a rider in fox-hunting attire.
